Payments & Policies

Please review Lititz Veterinary Clinic's payments and policies closely! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to the office to request clarification.
Appointment Policy

Lititz Veterinary Clinic sees our non-emergency patients by scheduled appointments or admissions. We offer urgent-care emergency appointments on an as needed basis during regular business hours. Lititz Veterinary Clinic makes every effort to see patients at their scheduled appointment times, however emergency and urgently ill or injured cases will be prioritized. This means that a pet in need of critical care, that arrives during your visit, may result in delays. We would greatly appreciate your understanding when emergency situations arise which require our immediate attention.

Late Arrival Policy

While we certainly understand that delays may happen, we feel we have an obligation and responsibility to do our very best to service the clients and patients who are here for their appointments on time. We strongly encourage all of our clients to arrive at least 5 minutes early, and 10 minutes early if you have a new patient or are a new client to allow time to complete administrative paperwork. If you happy to arrive late to an appointment, you may be asked to reschedule or wait to be seen.

Cancellations, No Show Appointments

We understand that emergency situations may arise from time to time that make such advance notice impossible. When possible, as a courtesy to other clients who may be in need of an appointment, we request that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to make your scheduled appointment. Repeated no-shows or last moment rescheduling of appointments may result in additional fees or the need to pre-pay for your next scheduled office visit time. New surgical consultation no-shows will need to pre-pay if rescheduling. This deposit will be put toward your rescheduled visit, but is non-refundable if you miss the appointment. We also reserve the right to withhold rescheduling an appointment for repeated offenses.

Payment Policy

Payment is expected at time of service. We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Care Credit, and Cash. Checks are accepted for regular clients only. There will be a $25 fee for a returned check. A deposit will be required for any patient admitted to our hospital for extended care. If you have any financial questions or concerns, our staff will be happy to provide you with a treatment plan and estimate to help you understand the services presented for your consideration. We can also assist you in applying for Care Credit, but encourage you to learn about and apply prior to your visit (www.carecredit.com). The Care Credit cardholder must be present at checkout. If you have doubts about approving any veterinary services presented by the veterinarian at Lititz Veterinary Clinic, please be sure to address your concerns with us prior to the administration of care to your pet.
