I graduated from Lancaster County Career and Technology Center with my degree in Veterinary Technology in 2020. I've been working in the field since I was 18. Pictured is my girl Bimini and I mid hike, which is a favorite past time of ours. I am excited to be a part of the surgical team here at LVC.

Hello, my name is Renee and I have been on staff at Lititz Vet Clinic since March of 2024. I am a certified assistant zookeeper by way of Animal Behavioral College. All my life I have enjoyed learning about and working with animals. From horses to lizards and rabbits and dogs every animal has something unique about it. I love helping your furry friends as they come to our facility for care, love and possibly lots of treats!

Hi, my name is Finn and I am a 6 year old grey and white kitty. I have been a resident here since October of 2022. The wonderful people here at the Lititz Veterinary Clinic took me in and gave me a really good home and helped take care of me after my urinary surgery. Even though I am now diabetic and they give me insulin shots, I still give them late night cuddles.

When they are not looking, I like to steal their snacks. I spend my days walking around, supervising all the employees in-between sleeping in my bachelor pad. At night I am curled up in my cat tree guarding the clinic. I am very lucky to be able to live here with all of these caring animal lovers.

I graduated from the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center in August of 2023. I worked at the Canine Country Club for 4-1/2 years in pet care, then in guest service, and lastly as a supervisor. I have two dogs. Felix is an Aussie mix and Nala is a Dachshund mix. I have always loved volunteering with animals when I was younger which then developed into my career. I love to walk trails and go on hikes which are typically accompanied by 2 sets of paws trotting along.

I graduated from LCCTC with an associate degree in Veterinary Technology in 2018. I’ve been working in the veterinary field for over 5 years. I’ve lived in Lancaster County my whole life. I enjoy spending time with my fiancée, family, friends, and of course my Golden Doodle Lainey. I love the beach, watching TV shows and sports, especially football. GO EAGLES!

I’m excited to be a part of the team here and look forward to giving your furry friends the best care possible when visiting Lititz.

I have been an animal advocate most of my life, including volunteering for rescues in the capacity of transport, fundraising and fostering. When the war in Ukraine started last year, I traveled there to volunteer with an organization out of the UK that was going into the war zone rescuing injured animals. Lititz Veterinary Clinic and other local veterinarians donated supplies to help in the war effort. This month long trip was a life-changing experience. I was an EMT for 10 years and previously worked in a specialty veterinary clinic in the Philadelphia area. I reside in Lititz and live here with my rescue cat Ollie and newly adopted Yorkshire terrier mix Angus. I enjoy cooking, reading, Pilates, yoga and travel, believing it to be the best form of education.

Dr. Tara Rabuffo is originally from Putnam County, New York. She began her veterinary career as a kennel assistant and then as a technician’s assistant at the local animal hospital at the age of 12. She continued to work there throughout college. After attending Cornell University, she attended Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. While attending Cornell University, she had the opportunity to work in the Animal Science department as an animal technician and barn hand at the teaching and research facilities. At veterinary school, Dr. Rabuffo met her husband of 25 years and became a nighttime surgical technician (small and large animal), which enabled her to learn more about the surgical field.  After finishing veterinary school, Dr. Rabuffo completed a rotating internship in equine medicine, surgery, and anesthesia. Tara then began her career as a surgical resident at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She worked at VCA Smoketown Animal Hospital as a staff surgeon and later went on to work as the sole surgeon at the Animal Emergency and Referral Center of York.  Dr. Rabuffo served on the dual certification committee for the American College of Veterinary Surgeons from 2016-2019. During the past 26 years as a Veterinarian, Dr. Rabuffo has published numerous scientific and lay articles. She has spoken at various veterinary meetings, including the annual meeting for the Diplomates of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. Dr. Rabuffo has also been fortunate enough to have given several continuing education seminars for veterinarians, technicians, and people in related fields. Back in 2005, Tara spent time with Dr. Christine Runnels at Lititz Veterinary Clinic and she is pleased to have her career come full circle with the purchase of Lititz Veterinary Clinic. She looks forward to continuing to help animals in the community by upholding superior standards of care. Tara and her husband, Fernando, have resided in Lancaster County with their children since 2003. They also have two dogs. In her free time, Dr. Rabuffo enjoys spending time with her family, camping, walking her dogs, doing yoga, and running.

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania I spent 10 years working in emergency medicine at PETS. I have been working in general practice, with small animal patients, at LVC for the past 15 years. Weekends are full with family and many interests including quilting, knitting, and gardening. I have always shared my home with cats including 6 black cats at one time.

I am one of the receptionists in the front office. These are my 3 dogs, boxer Nixie, labrador Karma, and bulldog Ramsey. Ramsey comes along to work with me most days. One of my favorite things to do is take them for walks. I have been working as a veterinary receptionist most of my adult life. I started at Lebanon Valley Animal Hospital in the 1990’s – this is where I met my good friend, Jeannie, who is the other receptionist here. I enjoy talking to clients and helping their furry families.

I’m working my dream job with the best of both worlds. I work here at Lititz Veterinary Clinic and at PETS in specialty medicine. I have been a technician since 2015. I started at Lititz Veterinary Clinic in 2017. I took a short hiatus for 6 months this year while I went to start my journey in specialty medicine. Now, I am at Lititz Veterinary Clinic part-time 1 day a week. When I’m not at LVC, I am at PETS in Lancaster working in ophthalmology and internal medicine.

Outside of work, I love to spend my time in the sun. I do a lot of cycling, hiking, and hanging out with my family. I’ve taken 3 bike-packing trips now. One of which I rode 150 miles in 3 days. It has become my biggest hobby. I currently live just a few minutes from the clinic in Lititz with my boyfriend of 4 years. Together we have a dog (Wilbur), and a cat (Toby). Both were rescued from Lititz Vet. On rainy days, we curl up and watch funny movies together. You might meet my dog Wilbur. He loves coming to work with me every day.

My name is Jeannie. I have worked as a veterinary technician for 20 years, then transitioned to receptionist. I have a menagerie of animals, but my pride and joy is my Boxer, Buckle and my 5 horses. Bob, a quarter horse, is the first horse that I got when I was 13 and he was a 3-year-old. Bob is now 38 years old and going strong! Opie, a retired show horse, is a warmblood. Joe is a painter with an attitude. Riley is an appendix quarter horse who likes to eat. Last but not least, Love Man the ex-racehorse who has a special bond with Buckle. Buckle goes everywhere I go! He loves to help at the barn. Buckle helps with the horses and rounds up the goats. I have devoted my life to animals, both at home and at work.

I’m Hannah, I started at LVC about a year and a half ago. I recently graduated from a Veterinary Technician program. I have always had a major love for animals since I was very little and that love only grew bigger. I couldn’t have picked a better place to start my career as a Veterinary Technician. I’m still learning everyday here so I can’t really say what a future goal would be, just to keep learning as much as I can and being the best tech that I can be.

As far as outside the clinic, I live at home with my boyfriend Tariq of 5 years, our 2 cats: Princess Yue (who really lives up to her name) and Sylvester who came into the clinic in January of this year. I fell in love with him and knew I needed to make him a part of our family. We also have the newest addition to our family: Hughey, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I don’t have too much free time right now because I also work part time at Ulta selling Clinique cosmetics on the weekends. I love to travel and be outside, especially if there’s a beach involved! But I also love to be a homebody and snuggle with the cats and puppy!

I started working at LVC in June. I graduated from Warwick High School in 2022. Based on my love for animals, I went to Lancaster County Career and Technology Center to be a veterinary assistant in August of 2021. I graduated from LCCTC in May of 2023. I am currently enrolled in Penn Foster for my veterinary technician degree.

I have two Pugs, Lucy and Trooper. I also have two cats. Miracle is a Maine Coon and Hercules is a Domestic Shorthair. I love going to the beach and riding four-wheelers with my family. In the fall/winter season, I enjoy painting in my free time. 

My name is Emaryah, but everyone calls me Emmy. I’ve worked as a veterinary assistant at Lititz since April 2023, and I love it. I love seeing all the cute animals and meeting all the amazing clients. At home, I have a puppy named Willow, and she is a Boston Terrier and Pug mix. I am currently in Veterinary Technician school at Penn Foster. I spend a lot of time in my free time with my family and I love spending time at the beach.

I’ve been at Lititz Veterinary Clinic for 35 years, starting part-time in the kennel, moving to reception, then Office Manager. I live in Lititz with my husband and 2 cats. 

Dusty is my 10-year-old tan DSH. He can be very vocal and insistent on getting his way, especially with food. He will also claim any surface as his. As you can see he claimed my grandson’s booster seat! Lefty is my 9-year-old tan DSH. Of course, they both came from the clinic. They were there at the same time, so I couldn’t separate them. He’s very shy and will hide from all visitors and my camera.

Other than loving to be with my family, I have season tickets to the Fulton Theater and sing in our church choir.

I was a veterinary technician at LVC 20+ years ago before I left to raise my family. I was fortunate enough to be asked to come back to being a technician with my work family. I love spending time with my family, friends and my cats.

I volunteer at a wildlife rescue in Maryland when I can and I am a sucker for helping rescues of all species. I have had horses, dogs, ferrets, rats, a bird, a bearded dragon, salt water fish and a whole lot of cats.

My name is Angie and I grew up in western Pennsylvania. For as long as I can remember, I have always loved animals. I knew that I wanted to work in the veterinary field. Upon completion of a 4 year degree in Veterinary Medical Technology at Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pa in 1998, I got my first professional job at the Lititz Veterinary Clinic and I have been here ever since. I enjoy taking care of our furry patients and talking to their parents about nutrition and post-surgical rehabilitation. I am also passionate about neonatal care.

When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend Tim. We enjoy taking our dogs, Thelma and Daphne for walks and just spending time with each other watching Steelers and Penguins games and cuddling with our furry menagerie of cats. We just adopted Daphne after Louise (in the picture above) recently passed away. We also have 2 guinea pigs. I love being a Veterinary Technician and look forward to meeting your fur babies.

After graduating from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, I spent many years working in a local mixed large & small animal practice. I am happy to now be at the Lititz Veterinary Clinic after mentoring here with Drs. Bill Whittaker and Christine Runnels prior to my graduation from vet school. Weekends are full with my menagerie of animals, family and friends.
